Volunteer Opportunities

Sometimes the best messengers are those individuals who have walked the walk…those who have been there & done that… those who can speak from the heart ... or the liver or kidney or pancreas.

Many of our volunteers and most staunch organ donor advocates are the transplant recipients themselves. These are individuals who recognize that the process does not stop upon transplantation, but rather that it is the beginning of a whole, new process -- the process of educating others on the importance of organ donation.

Donor family members also share the volunteer spotlight with the recipients, as their testimonials and personal stories about their decision to donate provide a level of unparalleled perspective when shared with people who want to learn more about organ donation.

LifeQuest welcomes the opportunity for recipients and donor families to help us with our mission of educating the public on the importance of organ donation. This can range from assisting us with public and corporate speaking engagements and community health fairs to working on special events such as the Five Points of Life Ride and the Donor Sabbath. Other venues for volunteerism include schools, churches, hospitals and civic clubs.
