Zachary Siegfried loved baseball. He played first base while his twin brother, Kyle, played third. The boys looked forward to playing together on the fields being built behind the family’s home.
At the tender age of seven, Zachary Siegfried died unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm. His parents consented to organ donation, and Zachary gave a second chance at life to four others through his gifts of kidney, liver and heart valve.
“There is not an hour that goes by that we do not think about Zachary,” said Melissa Siegfried, Zachary’s mother. “He gave us so much love, joy and memories that we will always treasure. Now other families are able to share their love, joy and make new memories with their loved one because of Zachary’s gifts.”
